The most unusual thing about your Ex(es) is that they resemble
strangers, yes in looks and in attitude too. Sometimes you wonder, if you ever
knew them at all, and at times you cant believe that they are no more in your
life.
Ex(es) come with a lot of familiarity topped with disgust and
pleasure. We try to forget them, bury the thoughts that once belonged to them
and you, and try to move on. But, the next to impossible thing is deleting the
memories. It is just no incapability too if you can't- because that forms part
of your life, irrespective of the fact that someone was with you at a
particular time. It is just like your profile picture at Facebook... you can
crop the person out, but the background remains. Was that a bad example? Oops!
The positive about Ex(es) is that they enrich your life with
experience. They come in your life for a reason, and a season to give you a life time of past. They warn you of the misunderstandings that spoil relations. They
prompt you to keep your ego in your arse pocket. On a cozy side, they remind
you that you were once being loved.
"No man is rich enough to buy back his past", says Oscar Wilde.
"No man is rich enough to buy back his past", says Oscar Wilde.
You miss them on gloomy yellow bulb lit evenings. You thank
God for being disassociated with them. You smug considering the fact you collected the shattered you and moved on.
